DSI Apexsil Cal
DSI ApexSil Cal is a non-eugenol, polymeric, radiopaque, bioceramic calcium hydroxide-based root canal filling material that provides complete three-dimensional obturation of the root canal system.
DSI ApexSil Cal has all the essential biological, physical and chemical properties of an excellent root canal sealer, ensuring its ability to create and maintain a fluid-tight seal within the canal. Such an excellent seal, in turn, is a prerequisite for long-term successful root canal treatment.
DSI ApexSil Cal is a highly biocompatible sealer with the ability to promote mineralization and stimulate the healing process. It demonstrates optimal flowability and strong adhesion to the dentinal wall that allow the material to reach and fill all the anatomically complex voids within the root canal system.
The incorporated MTA particles expand slightly upon setting, improving the quality of the seal and limiting the risk of microleakage.
Long-lasting antimicrobial activity protects from bacterial penetration and reinfection.
Virtually insoluble with impressive sealing ability, DSI ApexSil Cal forms a dimensionally stable, hermetic seal.
